Aerobics marathon on Sept. 24 at CCSC

A fitness professional association is hosting the first-ever biggest marathon in Cebu on September 24.

The Cebu chapter of the Association of Fitness Professionals is hosting a three-hour aerobics marathon that gathers participants from colleges and universities. These include the University of San Carlos, Southwestern University, Cebu Normal University, University of San Jose Recoletos, AMA Computer College and physical education major and aerobics students and instructors from fitness centers and gyms in Cebu.

Dubbed as Aerobics Fun-atics, the three-hour marathon will include segments in aero-jam, high and low impact, hip-hop, Latin aerobics and cardio-boxing.

There will be three categories for beginners, advance and professional aerobics enthusiasts and practitioners.

Winners will be judged in endurance, flexibility, timing and physique. Three winners will be chosen from each category. Contestants are required to be at the Cebu City Sports Center at 1 PM on Saturday. - Ruth Mercado
