Food vendors, tables intrude Tisa road anew
CEBU, Philippines — Some tables for dining owned by food vendors in Barangay Tisa, Cebu City were reportedly backed on the road disrupting the traffic flow.
The new officer-in-charge of the Cebu City Prevention Restoration Order Beautification and Enhancement (PROBE), Grace Luardo, received the information and vowed to take immediate action on it.
The area has been plastered for many years, but the disarrangement returned recently.
Usually sold on that street are siomai and other foods.
In Luardo's interview with The Freeman yesterday, she said they will ask the food vendors to use the designated area where they should not go beyond the sidewalk.
The concerned citizens noticed that there are tables on the roads especially during night time.
Luardo hopes that the people will cooperate since it is also for the order of the city.
Apart from Tisa, there are also other barangays that are being checked for the same concern.
The first rule is that they should not obstruct the roads. —/GMR (FREEMAN)
