Capitol to give brgys vehicles worth P12.8M

CEBU, Philippines- The Provincial Government will turn over public vehicles worth over P12.8 million to several barangays next month.

In a document prepared by Rhodeva Domingo of the Provincial General Services Office, one ambulance (van type) worth P1,329,000 will be given to Danao City. The unit, like all the others, was supplied by Cebu Sendai Motor Sales, Inc.

Capitol will distribute nine mini dumptrucks worth P710,000 each or a total of P6,390,000 to Barangay Urogon in Asturias; Barangay Cansaga in Consolacion; Barangay Tungkil inMinglanilla; Barangay Nug-as in Alcoy; Barangay Sto. Niño in Malabuyoc; Barangay Biasong inTalisay City; Barangay Taloot in Argao; as well as to two barangays in Toledo City.

Nine multicab, each worth P134,000, will also be turned over to Barangay Tupas, Pinamungajan (two units); Pitalo, San Fernando; Mabuli, Tabogon; Pawa, Dumanjug; Canamucan, Compostela; Luyang, Carmen; Banilad, Mandaue City and Managase in Tabogon.

The nine vehicles are worth a total of P1.2 million.

Another set of multicabs, at P130,000 each or a total of P3.9 million, will be distributed to Toledo City (two units); Sta. Lucia, Asturias; Sta. Fe town; Hilantagaan, Sta. Fe; Okoy, Sta. Fe; Budbud, Barili; one each for Sac-on and Luyang in Carmen; one each for Apo, Lengigon and Talaytay in Argao town; one each for Manipis and Mohon in Talisay City; one for Ward 4, Minglanilla; Poblacion 1, Tuburan; Madridejos town hall; one for Balhaan, Dobdob, Sulsogan and Ginablan in Badian; Poblacion West, Moalboal; one each for Kanghumaod, Cogon, and Paculob in Dumanjug; one each for Lepanto and Sta. Filomena in Alegria; Salagmaya, Alcantara; Canamucan, Compostela; and Mabuli, Tabogon. (FREEMAN)
