Totol dares Bebot to debate

Jessa Agua - The Freeman

CEBU, Philippines - Team Rama congressional aspirant Aristotle Batuhan challenged his opponents for a debate on certain issues concerning the city.

Instead of throwing dirty tactics at each other, the lawyer suggested that intellectual discussions be done between him and opponent Councilor Rodrigo Abellanosa.

“It seems nga ang akong kaatbang dili na man mao ang mutubag sa issues kay ang ila na mang chairman ang magpa-interview. Hinoon, naa na siyay pwedeng buhaton isip former mayor and former congressman,” Batuhan told reporters.

On the issue that his web blog hacking was politically motivated, he admitted that his technical team’s task of tracing his web blog’s hacker is not easy.

“Lisud ang pag-trace kung kinsa gyud ang mi-hack. But the most important thing is that my blog is up and running again. We are able to put across our message and programs,” lawyer Batuhan told reporters during the party’s press conference in Rama Compound.

He added this “cyber bullying” is on top of the physical removal of his and the party’s campaign materials.

“Their camp is defacing not just my blog but also the Facebook page. Ila sad na gipangtangtang ang atong mga posters in several barangays. Hapit na man unta’ng elections, let us move on from making unnecessary noise like this,” he continued.

Earlier, Batuhan and Abellanosa tangled over the scholarship program of Cebu City wherein Batuhan filed a complaint against Abella-nosa for conflict of interest.
