Bloods member falls for shooting Crips

-

CEBU, Philippines – A member of the Bloods gang was placed under arrest the other night for shooting a member of rival group Crips.

Members of the Special Weapons and Tactics and barangay police of Carreta cornered Rollen Jalandoni, 21, after he and four other members of Bloods allegedly shot Crips members and hit 15-year-old Jill Vincent Aquilla.

The shooting happened in sitio Kalapukan, a so-called Crips “territory” in barangay Carreta.

Jalandoni, a resident of barangay T. Padilla, admitted to the charge and said they merely wanted to retaliate because Crips members allegedly shot at them last week and even hit him on the back.

“Igo ra mi ni-resbak nila sir kay niaging simana kami pud ang ilang gipusil. Gani, nagpabilin man ang uwat sa akong buko-buko,” Jalandoni said.

Jalandoni si currently detained at the Waterfront Police Station. Confiscated from him during the arrest were a .38 revolver with three live ammunitions and two empty shells. A suspected pack of shabu was also seized from him.

Jalandoni is the cousin of the Bloods leader Raymund “Tupac” Barrientos who was arrested recently for involvement in a series of robbery and murder cases.

Aquilla, a resident of Mabolo, was brought to Cebu City Medical Center but subsequently left the hospital without apparent reason.

“Gipa X-ray man unta to pero kalit raman nawagtang ang bata,” a security guard of CCMC said.

Danilo Sohayle, barangay tanod of Carreta, confirmed that Jalandoni was among the Bloods member that fired at the Carreta barangay hall last month. – Ramil V. Ayuman/JMO (THE FREEMAN)
