Seen in a bridal exhibit (only until tomorrow) at the ground floor of Robinson’s Cybergate Fuente are gowns decorated in floral appliqués by Cebuano fashion designers. Humberto Villegas shows adeptness in feminine techniques and devotion to surprises: See the black belt around a bouffant gown.

Manuel Tumaque’s serpentine gown features keenly patterned flowers pasted on a pleated bodice.

Up-and-coming Oryille Biongcog is very conscious about the bride’s curves. Floral fabrics are embellished on the bust to introduce a flow of layered fabric, forming an empire silhouette.
