BELO CLINIC OPENS WITH A BANG!

CEBU, Philippines - It was such a welcome news when the “Ambassadress of Beauty” and noted dermatologist and cosmetic surgeon, Dr. Vicki Belo breezed into town late last year and gathered a bunch of media friends to announce the opening of Belo’s first clinic in the Visayas at the Terraces in Ayala Center Cebu.  Then on, the beauty-conscious Cebuanos were eagerly waiting for the formal opening of the country’s top name in the field of dermatology and cosmetic surgery, the Belo clinic.

With all the works, a grand launch and summer party took place to formally open the 180-square meter, two-story, non-surgical Beauty Clinic. Showbiz “biggies” and Belo endorsers graced the affair, all giving moral support to the well-loved “Doctor of the Stars.” Top caliber actor Christopher de Leon, Claudine Barreto, Donita Rose, society columnists Tessa Prieto-Valdez and Maurice Arcache and the metro’s well-heeled denizens took time out and partied ‘til late that evening.  Adding glitter and entertainment that evening were the Philharmonic Orchestra, the Lupon Anduyo, Janno Gibbs, Christopher de Leon and Christian Bautista.

A couple of days after the grand launch, Lucy Torres, one of Belo’s biggest endorser, flew in from Manila for an intimate round table dinner with a lifestyle and business writers at the Cebu City Marriott Hotel. She wasn’t able to make it to the opening due to some previous engagements. We had fun talking to her, who was as ever in her down to earth attitude.

“After more than 18 years in the business, we aim to be accessible to more people who want to avail of our services,” says Dr. Vicki, thus the Cebu emergence of Belo clinic, strengthening further its lead in the industry as it brings its services to shopping malls around the country.

Congratulations and a warm welcome to Cebu! Cheers!
