"Ang Sayaw ng Dalawang Kaliwang Paa" premiere screening in Cebu

CEBU, Philippines - Little Boy Productions and USC Psychology Society will present the Cebu screening of “Ang Sayaw ng Dalawang Kaliwang Paa,” the film that won 7 major awards at the recent Gawad Urian.

The film is also on the short list to be the Philippines’ official entry to the Oscars as Best Foreign Film.

Written and directed by Alvin Yapan (who won Best Screenplay and Best Direction), “Ang Sayaw ng Dalawang Kaliwang Paa” (Best Film) features the works of prominent Filipina poets Rebecca Añonuevo, Benilda Santos, Merlinda Bobis, Joi Barrios, Ruth Elynia Mabanglo and the late Ophelia Dimalanta, woven in music and dance.

Paulo Avelino (Best Actor) and Rocco Nacino play dance students, with Jean Garcia (Best Supporting Actress) as their teacher. A unique love triangle, one wherein the point is to share love and not to exclusively own love, ensues.
