'The Echo' director set to deliver another big scare in "Patient X"

CEBU, Philippines - Fresh from Hollywood, director Yam Laranas is set to deliver another unforgettable scare with his new horror film “Patient X,” which reunites him with actor Richard Gutierrez whom he first worked with in “Sigaw.”

Laranas has incorporated high-class concepts for his latest horror masterpiece that he acquired while co-directing The Echo, the American adaptation of Sigaw. Richard, on the other hand, has conscientiously ventured into a variation of film genres, enabling him to match skills with the award-winning director.

Joining direk Yam and Richard is perhaps the most desirable yet most dangerous of patients: FHM’s sexiest woman of 2009, Cristine Reyes. Serving as the dreaded patient x, Christine has astonishingly siphoned the skills of her two co-workers that in less than a month, people can’t stop talking about how talented and convincing she is, that indeed, another Cristine is born.

Under GMA Films, Viva Films and RGUTZ Productions, this movie with its world-class script, award-winning director and powerhouse cast, could undoubtedly terrify and amaze Filipinos and foreigners alike.
