DENR okays 6 MPSAs

MANILA, Philippines - The Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) Mines and Geosciences Bureau (MGB) has approved a total of six mineral production sharing agreements (MPSAs), one mineral processing permit (MPP) and 20 exploration permits (Eps) from Feb. 12 to March 22 this year.

The six approves MPSAs were for Solid Earth Development Corp. Cebu, two for Apo Land and Quarry Corp., in Cebu and Naga City, Cebu, Far East Cement Corp. Aklan and Antique; Peblea Q. Alfaro in Cebu City and AAM-Phil Natural Resources Exploration and Development Corp. in Basilica and San Jose.

The sole MPP was given to Philippine Mining Service Corp. for dolomite processing in Alcoy, Cebu.

The 20 companies whose EPs were approved are Emir Mineral Resources Corp., OZ Metals Exploration and Development Corp., Kumakata Mining Co. Inc., Affluere Minerals Corp., Egerton Gold Phils., Inc., MRL Gold Phils. Inc., PNOC-Energy Development Corp., three for Amalgamated Iron Works, Inc., Sungtai Processing & Trading Corp., two for Titan Exploration and Development Corp., Alcorn Gold Resources Corp., J&M Resources Mining & Exploration Corp., Peniel Resources Mining Corp., T&T Resources Mining Corp., Bo Go Resources Mining Corp., Filminera Resources Corp., and T&D Kim Phils., Inc.
