Comelec binatikos ni Adel sa party-list

MANILA, Philippines - Tinuligsa kahapon ni Nacionalista Party senatorial bet Atty. Adel Tamano ang Commission on Elections sa pagbibigay ng magandang trato sa mga party-list nina Energy Sec. Angelo Reyes at Pampanga Rep. Mikey Arroyo, habang hinihigpitan ang ibang mga partylist.

Ani Tamano, ito’y lantarang kawalan ng ethics ng Comelec na nagpapa-impluwensya sa mga makapangyarihang tao.

“These people are violating the code of ethics for public officials for using their influence to press for their political schemes. Legitimate party-lists like say the Ang Ladlad, on the other hand, is thrown everything to prevent them from pariticipating in the elections,” ani Tamano.

“Nakakatawa, Secretary Reyes’ policies on energy and fuel are the very reason why the transport sector is marginalized and now he wants to represent them. How can he be their champion? Si Mikey naman presents himself as a nominee of a group of security guards. Please, you cannot be considered marginalized if you can afford to hire a battalion of security personnel to guard you,” dagdag pa ni Tamano.

Si Reyes ay planong tumakbo sa 1-Utak habang si Mikey ay nominado ng Ang Galing Pinoy. 

Ayon kay Tamano, ang kaso nina Reyes at Arroyo ay patunay na ang party-list system ay masyado nang naabuso at nasalahula.
