Westbrook on Durant’s claim of Warriors’ selflessness: That’s cute
MANILA, Philippines – Oklahoma City Thunder superstar Russell Westbrook is fed up of questions about former teammate Kevin Durant and the Golden State Warriors.
Speaking to the press on Thursday, Westbrook responded to Durant's statement that he chose to transfer because of the Warriors' "selflessness."
"That's cute," Westbrook said.
"But my job is to worry about what's going on here. We're going to worry about all the selfish guys we have over here, apparently, so we're going to figure that out," added the All-Star point guard.
Westrbook said he will no longer answer questions about Durant and will just focus on his role as the leader of the Thunder.
"I don't care. To me, it doesn't matter. My job is to worry about here. Honestly, I'm not really talking about it, so any time anybody asks me another question, I'm just not going to answer," he said.
