LGBA 3-stag elims unfolds

MANILA, Philippines - Action in the Luzon Gamecock Breeders Association (LGBA) series heats up today with a seven-stag derby on tap at the Pasay City Cockpit.

A guaranteed prize of P2 million is up for grabs for an entry fee of P11,000.

The three-stag elims gets under way today and on Aug. 25 and 28 with the four-cock finals set on Sept. 1 and 8.

Stags that also qualified in the 60M PFGB Digmaan 11-stag derby will be fielded today, according to LGBA president Nick Crisostomo.

So far, LGBA has staged two seven-stag derbies backed by Sagupaan Complexor 3000 at the PCC.

Jay Gonzales (Batang Taal KBJ) and Godo Beltran (GPB Mayon Gamefarm) topped the first event last July 28 while Nestor Vendivil (Oliver Chopper 1), Ed Gonzales (EVG 333), Walter Lacuesta (QCA) and Edwin Lumbres (Edlum Suplang 2) ruled the second event last Friday.
