IN PHOTOS: Tennis stars shine in IPTL 2014

MANILA, Philippines – Crowd darling Maria Sharapova and World No. 1 Serena Williams led other big names in the world of tennis for the first ever International Premier Tennis League at the Mall of Asia Arena last weekend.

Sharapova represented the local team Manila Mavericks composed of Andy Murray, Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, Filipino-American Treat Huey, Kirsten Flipkens, Mark Philippousis, Carlos Moya and Daniel Nestor.

Williams played only in the last of the three-day tournament but nonetheless received a warm welcome from her Filipino fans the moment she stepped on the court.
