MCC summer tourney

MANILA, Philippines - The Milo Checkmate Summer Chess Clinics holds its age-group tournament for the first batch of enrollees in Metro Manila today starting at 10:30 a.m. at second floor, Event Area of Starmall Edsa Shaw in Mandaluyong City.

The field will be divided into four groups, including 8-Under; 10-Under; 12-Under and Juniors with the Swiss System tournament set over five round.

 The top four finishers in each division will receive medals and trophies courtesy of the sponsoring Milo, the country’s No. 1 energy drink.
