MANILA, Philippines - Action in the Luzon Gamecock Breeders Association heats up today with the holding of Round Two of the 7-cock derby at the Pasay City Cockpit.

With more than 90 fights on tap, the 3-cock elims backed by Sagupaan Complexor 3000 will start at 2 p.m.

The LGBA circuit, a three-leg event, kicked off yesterday with 57 fights.

Meanwhile, LGBA president Nick Crisostomo announced the upcoming screening and wing-banding of cockerels will be held in connection with the 2017 Digmaan 11-stag derby.

“Last year’s ‘Digmaan’ drew 6,604 entries,” said Wilson Ong, president of Pambansang Federation ng Gamefowl Breeders (PFGB-Digmaan, Inc.) with Jimmy Zapanta of LGBA emerging as one of five co-champions.
