MANILA, Philippines - Armed men reportedly disguised as cosplayers fired shots inside SM Megamall in Mandaluyong City as they held up a jewelry counter on Saturday night.
Reports said that at least five gunshots were fired inside the mall at past 7 pm.
Mall goers reportedly took shelter inside the mall's stores as the robbery took place.
Minutes after the shooting inside the mall, the police reported that no one was hurt.
Police have yet to report additional details on the incident as of this posting.
The shooting happened as the police implement the nationwide election gun ban.
As it is the crime rate in country did not lower down but instead its becoming worst form pity crime to rubout and now holdup in well guarded place, SM-Mall. Somehow the body and bag inspection of guards ay pweding lusutan. Sticks are use to check bags na ineefective. Metal scanners and x-rays is far more better. The use of sticks and body checks will only follow if scanners detected metal or suspicious object. As usual security is taken for granted . Ma re react lang kung may krimen na nang naganap.
