RH pros and cons win

The Philippine Star

As expected, the Supreme Court finally ruling on the constitutionality was received vociferously by both RH pros and cons.

Well, from this “armchair critic of the contemporary scene” let us heed Domini’s call — let’s move on and forward, but continuously in its implementation especially in spending the huge appropriation of P14 billion!

From this end — after years of experience in the public service and the “wisdom” gained, I am afraid, “greedy” hands are ready to pounce on it and profit from  the fat commissions and brokerage fees from the purchase and importation from abroad of artificial birth control devices.

Let us not forget that there are Natural methods to control population, for that is the main purpose of the Law. This method does not need too much money. How? Let us use our DOH Day Care workers, and church Lay Ministers to learn, and so teach, mothers (and fathers) the BILLINGS Fertility System (from Australia) which is nothing more than for sexual partners to abstain from sex during the “fertile days” of the female. This can be determined in various ways so let us please use some of the money in learning, teaching and using this natural way. â€” Consuelo Dancel Sison, Quezon City
