KC Concepcion to host Bb. Pilipinas 2016

MANILA, Philippines – KC Concepcion will be this year’s host of Bb. Pilipinas.

“I will be hosting Bb. Pilipinas this year. This year it's with Xian Lim” she announced in an interview on Wednesday.

She last hosted the beauty pageant in 2011. This will be her first hosting stint after renewing her contract with ABS-CBN.

“I just signed a two-year contract with ABS-CBN, so I'll be back soon in hosting and drama as well,” she said.

She’ll be hosting Bb. Pilipinas 2016 with Xian Lim, who co-hosted with Toni Gonzaga in last year’s pageant.

The Bb. Pilipinas 2015 hosting of Gonzaga was the talk of the town for a while after many thought that she “made fun” of the candidates in some portions of the pageant.

The host-actress then explained that she was instructed to make the show “lively,” as to lighten up the mood of the candidates because of the pressure they’re feeling from the competition.

Bb. Pilipinas 2016 grand coronation night will happen on April 17 at the Smart-Araneta Coliseum. It will have a delayed telecast in ABS-CBN Sunday’s Best.
