Makati enforcer killed in traffic row

MANILA, Philippines - A traffic enforcer was killed following an argument with a woman over a supposed traffic violation in Makati City on Tuesday.

Rommel Oliveros, 38, a member of the Makati Public Safety Assistance, was shot dead by unidentified assailants at the corner of Valderama street and Osmeña Highway in Barangay Pio del Pilar at past 4 p.m., according to city police chief Senior Superintendent Dionisio Bartolome.

Reports said that Oliveros was engaged in an argument with the woman when two men on a motorcycle arrived and fired at him.
