10 Filipinos land on Forbes 2017 world billionaire list
MANILA, Philippines — Ten Filipinos once again made it to the recently released Forbes magazine’s annual billionaires list.
According to the international magazine, shopping mogul Henry Sy is still the richest in the Philippines as he ranked 94th on the roster with $12.7 billion estimated net worth.
Sy has been topping the list of richest Filipinos in the world for 10 consecutive years.

Last year, eleven Filipinos made it on the world’s billionaires list but only 10 were tagged this year.
The Forbes list singled out the wealthiest individuals from at least 67 countries. The list was dominated by United States-based businessmen.
Topping it was Microsoft founder Bill Gates while Facebook's Mark Zuckerberg placed fifth.
