Enactus Philippines,?under the helm of?chairman Jose Leviste Jr., held the 2017?Enactus Philippines?National Competition?at the SMX Convention?Center in Pasay City. The?event commenced with?a welcome ceremony?and networking?reception, followed by?the competition proper,?which was judged?by the country’s most respected names in government and business. Some of them even gave speeches that inspired the business- minded millennials and entrepreneurs-to-be in attendance. Nine teams took part in this year’s competition, but in the end, judges selected Holy Trinity College of General Santos City as the national champion and the team that will represent Enactus Philippines at the upcoming World Cup. Congratulations to Enactus Philippines for another successful national finals!

A new breed of leaders

International?Foundation, Inc. (IBF) held an oath-taking ceremony for their new batch of officers. Seen in the photo are (from left) Taguig City mayor and IBF over-all chairperson Lani Cayetano and her husband Foreign Affairs secretary Alan Cayetano, who swore in Angola consul Helen Ong as president, Tanzania consul Betty Chua as vice president, Cecilia Bocobo as secretary and Alice Guerrero as treasurer. Their first order of business is preparing for the 51st International Bazaar, to be held on November 26 at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC) Forums 1, 2 and 3 at the Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP) Complex in Pasay City.
