Enjoy the food, but be wary

Beware. While Barangay Tisa is now becoming popular as a food strip (thanks to the famous and delicious Siomai sa Tisa) visitors are cautioned to watch out for gangs of kids who victimize foodies.

These are kids who are so young you think they have no ill intent. However, if you don't watch your belongings they can rummage through your bag and then run off with your valuables.

The kids operate as a group, they all start running away after someone has been alerted, whether the steal was successful or not. Their small size makes it easier for them to slip into alleys and other hiding places.
