Reluya motocross race set Jan. 27-28

CEBU, Philippines — Local motocrossers gear up for their first race of the year, the 2018 Mayor Neneth Reluya Motocross Cup in Balud, San Fernando on January 27-28.

The two-day tilt features 20 categories that include the expert open, 40 and 50-above, intermediate open, novice open, beginners open and 50cc, veterans 35 above, 40-above open enduro, 125 enduro, underbone open, 85cc and 50cc.

There will also be two all-female classes, the ladies open and 12-under.               

Pepo Rubi of the organizing Quickflight Racing said over 50 riders including a bunch of out-of-towners are expected to showcase their skills in the adrenaline-pumping show.

The Mayor Reluya Cup also serves as the last leg of the Hitachi Motocross Series 2017-2018 edition.
