By now many of you may already be setting up your Christmas decor at home, especially the Catholics and Christians. The common centerpiece, even in commercial establishments and offices, is the Christmas Tree.
Wherever its origin – Germany, and not Bethlehem! – when it comes to feng shui, there is a proper, lucky way to set up a Christmas Tree.
Popularly, the best location for a Christmas Tree is the Southeast or East quadrant of a living room or office or store display space.
Why? This is the wood element. However, this must be properly qualified by a feng shui expert. This is good only if the tree is made of wood; for example, real pinewood or wood imitations. Putting it rightly augurs a prosperous season as the element of wood signifies growth!
Best too if the color of the Christmas Tree is the normal green and its derivative pantone shades. Not the avant garde modern commercial colors preferred just out of quirks! Not pink, fuchsia, gold, silver, mauve, or even neon glow in the dark for black light – only white. In which regard, the color of the tree dictates where to locate it.
If red, pink or shades thereof, it’s best to put it on the fire direction quadrant or South. Yellow or brown is best at the Northeast or Southwest, or if the living room isn’t the center of the home or place, then it can be at the center of the living room or area. Never should it be placed at the dead center of a house though! If gold, silver or metallic color, the best location is at the West or Northwest or metal direction. It’s the same with white colored Christmas Tree.
If ultramodern blue or black is the color, the only best location is North, for water. The usual greens, of course, shall remain at the East or Southeast. But if you really want to have a seriously mirthful and energetic Christmas, do not be dictated by the color of your tree. You dictate the color of your tree instead, using your lucky feng shui element!
Thus if you are a metal person, choose white, gold or silver or metallic motif for your Christmas Tree. If fire, red, orange or fuschia and pink are the right colors. If earth, it’s yellow and earth tones. If water, only blue or black is good. If wood, the vibrant greens!
