Police officer helps deliver baby in “Saklolo”

CEBU, Philippines - Broadcast journalists Maan Macapagal and Dominic Almelor revisit the story of how a police officer helped in the unexpected delivery of a baby this Wednesday (April 3) in “Pinoy True Stories: Saklolo.”

Nine-month pregnant Carina was on her way to a hospital when she dropped by a police station to use the toilet. All of a sudden, she felt her baby was already about to come out and field investigator Christian Barcase rushed to help her in delivering the baby.

Carina has since treated Christian as her son Nico’s savior and made him the baby’s godfather six months after the emergency birth.

Meanwhile, Karen Davila probes a woman spreading malicious rumors that her husband was having an affair with their neighbor today (April 2) in “Pinoy True Stories: Engkwentro.” The said neighbor has reported the incident to barangay officials as the false gossip has already tormented her own children.
