CBM 2023 tees up for the 23rd Business-In-Golf (BIG) tournament

The Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) is gearing up to host its 23rd annual Business in Golf (BIG) as part of the 2023 Cebu Business Months (CBM) celebration. This highly anticipated golf tournament is set to take place at the Cebu Country Club on the 9th and 10th of November.

Four (4) players are required to field a team to play (white tee for men and red tee box for women) using the 4-man Team Scramble tournament format. Special prizes such as Longest Drive, Nearest to the Pin, Most Accurate Drive and a whooping Php 100,000. 00 cash for the Hole-in-One waits for the 300 golfers from Cebu and neighboring provinces.

The Cebu Business Month was started in 1991 as "Cebu Business Day", then became "Cebu Business Week" in 1994 with the support of Cebu City Resolution No. 1635, Cebu Provincial Resolution No. 367-94, and Presidential Proclamation No. 748. It has since grown into a month-long event series, gaining recognition for its impact in Cebu. In 2022, CBM evolved into a year-long celebration with the mission "To Inspire, Promote & Grow Cebu Businesses".

This year, CBM centers on Cebuanos' resilience and community spirit with the theme "Cebu ‘ta Bai." The event has successfully hosted four major events, each highlighting a pillar of the industry, which includes Tourism, Technology, Entrepreneurship, and Creative Entertainment.
