MANILA, Philippines – Terrence Romeo has gone AWOL (absence without leave) for over two weeks now, prompting the TNT KaTropa ball club to look at their options, including a possible trade.

A reliable source said TNT is now ready to deal away the three-time PBA scoring champ whom the ball club acquired in a trade with North Port just this year.

“He’s not shown up in our practices for about three weeks now, and he didn’t attend our Christmas party. Hindi ma-contact,” said The STAR source.

“Hindi rin maganda ang relationship niya sa mga teammates niya, at mahirap i-handle, so the team deemed it better to start looking for any team open to a trade involving Terrence,” the source added.

At NorthPort, Romeo asked to be traded after a disagreement with coach Pido Jarencio.

In one game, Romeo and Jarencio had a shouting match right before the crowd.

At TNT, the former FEU star guard figured in a near fight with RR Pogoy in practice.

“Pogoy is a pesky defender even in practice, at napikon si Terrence,” said a source.
