WATCH: Eustaquio, Moraes battle for ONE flyweight supremacy
MACAU — Geje Eustaquio will test his mettle against Adriano Moraes anew. Only this time, the stakes are higher, and a bigger prize is dangled.
On Saturday night at the Studio City event center here, the striker and the grappler lock horns for the right to be called as ONE championship’s undisputed flyweight champion.
Get to know the two fighters in these videos courtesy of the Asian mixed martial arts promotion:
The two mixed martial artists last crossed paths on Sept. 12, 2014, for the vacant division title in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. It resulted to Eustaqio falling into submission at the second frame via guillotine choke.
The Filipino, though, said that a lot has changed in the course of four years — including his ground game, which his Brazilian foe exploited in the first meeting. Eustaquio is confident that he will emerge as the victor in the card — dubbed “Pinnacle of Power,” which is slated to come off wraps at 6:30 p.m.
The two fighters share the main-event slots with reigning strawweight division queen Xiong Jing Nan and challenger Laura Balin.
