Jaja Santiago says Foton hasn't peaked yet

MANILA, Philippines — Foton skipper Jaja Santiago stressed that they did not peak early in the tournament.

"Hindi ko naman iniisip na magpi-peak kami nang maaga kasi nga nasa rebuilding stage kami," Santiago said.

"Naglalaro lang kami kung ano talaga meron samin and hindi kami naghahanap ng iba," she added.

Foton on Thursday survived five-set scare against Generika-Ayala Lifesavers, 19-25, 20-25, 25-18, 25-15, 15-7, in the 2017 Philippine Superliga All-Filipino Conference.

Santiago dropped 26 points in 19 attacks and five aces while EJ Laure added 20 points.
