TnT-QC back in Batang PBA

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - The Talk N Text-Quezon City, which captured five consecutive championships under coach Mark Herrera, is back in action in the Batang PBA All-Star 2014 after a two-year absence.

“I’m really excited for this tournament. Being absent for almost two years is like being a rookie again, but we like our chances with a lot of promising players from Quezon City showcasing their talent and skills,” said Herrera, who is also head of the national Growee 13-under team.

The team is supported by QC Vice Mayor Joy Belmonte and sponsored by AMA University owner Amable Aguiluz and first vice president Arnel Hibo.

Herrera said Talk n Text-QC will be fielding two teams – a 16-under squad for those born from 1998 to 2001, and a 12-under squad for those born 2002 to 2005.

Almost 500 participated in the first tryouts set at the Quezon Memorial Circle.

For the next tryout, call up the office of AMA U or QC vice mayor’s office.
