MANILA, Philippines - Defending mini-ROK champion Flyn Jackes and last year’s Cadet Karter Tai Zulberti of City Kart take center stage anew as they clash for the mini-ROK crown  over the wide and long technical 3.7-km Batangas Racing Circuit today in the second leg of the 2013 Coca-Cola Karting Super Series.

Jackes, 10,  dominated the Mini-ROK class last season and was expected to stamp his class anew when he ruled the qualifying heat.  But Zulberti, running second to Jackes, staged a big comeback  both in the pre-final and final race to seal his successful debut in this higher class.

Jackes is raring  for redemption against Zulberti, who is expected to go all out to retain the title. Standing in their way are William Casequin and Dylan Arambulo of Tough Gear Racing who finished second and third in the kickoff leg. They will be joined by Sean Draeco McLelland and Mikey Jordan.

Gabe Tayao-Cabrera also seeks a repeat of his feat beating all the Expert karters in the combined race as he guns for another big victory in the Formula SL Novice class over Arthur  “AT”  Tuason of Tuason Racing and third placer Mark Francis Tanlu of AUTS Racing

Also seeking their second consecutive wins are Jose Luigi Lachica of One Racing and Bobby Redpath of AUTS Racing.

The event is sponsored by Coca-Cola Philippines and Yokohama and sanctioned by the Automobile Association Philippines.
