MANILA, Philippines - The BDO Race for Life held at SM Mall of Asia marathon route recently drew more than 4,500 runners and raised P1.7 million to construct community facilities in a resettlement site in Barangay Canitoan, Cagayan de Oro.
The field was composed of BDO employees and their families and running enthusiasts who took time out to help in the annual fund-raiser that started as a fun-run activity of BDO Unibank and BDO Foundation.
BDO Foundation will build 100 homes while partner SM Prime Holdings will construct 200.
HRG-ICP, in coordination with BDO Foundation, organized the event with Tri’ N Motion Sports Coaching as event organizer. Sponsors are Pocari Sweat, Soleus (timing partner), Outbound Asia, Inc. (race arc partner), SM Mall of Asia (venue) and R.O.X (registration partner).
