Berroya acting TATAP president

MANILA, Philippines - The Table Tennis Association of the Philippines (TATAP) board of trustees allowed Vice-President Arnel Berroya to take charge as acting president of the association following the suspension of John Rex Tiu and Dante Boquiren.

Tiu, the former TATAP president, and Boquiren, the board secretary, were suspended indefinitely by the TATAP board of trustees for allegedly withdrawing P100,000 from the TATAP Metrobank account last week without permission from the board.

With Tiu’s suspension, Berroya will serve as the association’s acting president until the general assembly and election in April.
