Alexa, ginapang ang title na new gen actress

Mahigit dalawang dekada nang aktibo si Alexa Ilacad sa show business. Ayon sa dating child actress ay hindi siya dumaan sa awkward stage kaya talagang nagtuluy-tuloy ang kanyang trabaho mula noon hanggang ngayon.

“I’m very blessed na hindi ako dumaan sa awkward stage. ‘Yan ay talagang ipagyayabang ko and I’m very proud because my career path has always been tuluy-tuloy ever since I was a kid. Usually, you get that awkward stage to rest, go through puberty. But I went through puberty still acting with braces and all of that. I’m really blessed sa part na ‘yan. Wala akong marereklamo,” pagbabahagi ni Alexa.

Ngayon ay isa ang dalaga sa mga bida ng Pira-Pirasong Paraiso.

Nakararamdam ng pressure si Alexa dahil napabilang sa mga ipinakilalang New Generation of Dramatic Actresses kasama nina Elisse Joson, Charlie Dizon at Loisa Andalio ng ABS-CBN. “Of course, there’s a certain kind of pressure. But I take it as motivation for me. I don’t focus on other people, other artists. I really like to focus on myself, on how I can improve myself. When they announced that title, siyempre kilig. I will really work hard to deserve the title. ‘Yon talaga ang ginapang ko. I’m very proud and I will do everything I can to earn this. This is so special to me because it’s the title that I’ve always wanted,” paglalahad ng aktres.

Bukod sa pag-arte ay gusto ring pagtuunan ng panahon ni Alexa ang pagkanta. “I am planning, as in wala pang nabubuo but I recently told Star Magic that I think this is the perfect time for me to release new music. Para hindi mawala ‘yung music side sa akin. That’s actually in talks right now but there’s nothing much I can explain yet pero abangan,” pagtatapos ng dalaga.

Robi, gusto ulit sumubok sa pag-arte

Kamakailan ay muling pumirma ng kontrata si Robi Domingo sa ABS-CBN. Para sa TV host ay isang malaking karangalan na patuloy siyang pinagkakatiwalaan ng Kapamilya network. I am just filled with emotions because I am so happy na patuloy ang tiwala ng ABS-CBN and I hope to share this happiness with my fiancée too,” bungad ni Robi.

Nangangarap ang binata na makagawa ng isang programa na hindi pa niya nasubukan sa mahigit isang dekadang nakalipas. “I want to host a game show na about know­ledge naman. I think it’s high time for us naman to bring back the golden age of game shows kung saan people would be rewarded because they know stuff. There was a time na puro teleserye and I’m up for it because ‘yon ang kailangan at that time. Ngayon, we need thinking Filipinos. To do that, we need to bring back game shows. I am one of the people who would want to mount that too,” giit niya.

Kung mabibigyan ng pagkakataon ay gusto muling masubukan ni Robi ang pag-arte sa harap ng kamera. Matatandaang gumanap din ang aktor sa ilang pelikula ng Star Cinema. “In the future I would love to do some, not rom-com pero ‘yung mga sitcom,” pagtatapos ng TV host. — Reports from JCC
