Showtime, naiba nang mapunta sa Australia si Anne

Hindi pa nakakauwi ng Pilipinas sina Anne Curtis at asawang si Erwan Heussaff, mula nang maipanganak ni Anne ang kanilang panganay, si Dahlia Amelie, in Australia this year.

Balak daw talaga ng magkabiyak ay bumalik ng Pilipinas, pagkatapos ni Anne makapanganak, which was early last year.

Ang dami nga nilang commitment na dalawa sa Pilipinas. Si Erwan is both chef and owner of his own restaurant sa isang plush places dito sa Metro Manila.

In the case of Anne, no one can argue that she is an in-demand performer and commercial model.

She is a regular host of the daily noontime show on ABS-CBN, It’s Showtime.

But as everyone knows, the pandemic happened. And for fear na may mangyari sa kanila, lalo na sa kanilang anak na si Dahlia, who was born March 2, 2020, the couple decided to stay put with Dahlia in Australia.

The existence of the coronavirus pandemic was officially declared globally March last year.

Its existence is considered a world health crisis.

With Anne’s absence, maraming nabago sa It’s Showtime.

Foremost ay ang pag-resign ni Bobet Vidanes as director of the show. Direk Bobet worked as director of It’s Showtime, since its inception more than 10 years ago.

Direk Bobet will soon reportedly direct a show for TV5.

Of It’s Showtime, former Pinoy Big Brother big winner Kim Chiu, now regular host na ng show. Considered siyang bilang show’s main host, maliban kina Vice Ganda, Vhong Navarro, Jhong Hilario at Karylle.

Tumatayo na ring mainstays ng It’s Showtime sina Ryan Bang, Ion Perez at Jackie Gonzaga. Plus Amy Perez.

Hindi pa namin tiyak kung sino ang pumalit bilang direktor ng show, after direk Bobet.

But as a regular viewer of It’s Showtime, as entertaining, if not even more, ang show.

Charlie, dream makatrabaho si Richard

Charlie Dizon revealed that she met her leading man, Paulo Avelino, in the Metro Manila Filmfest 2020 (MMFF) top grosser, Fan Girl, on the first day ng kanilang shooting.

Kaya, kabado pa raw siyang sobra, as Paulo nga, at first meeting, is not much of the friendly type.

“He lived up to his role,” Charlie. “Iyong artistang aloof sa kanyang mga tagahanga.

“Bale ba sa initial shooting namin ng Fan Girl, direk Jadaone (Antoinette) ordered (not request, she specified) me to remove my makeup.

“She ordered me, likewise, to act like a fan talaga. Kaya, it helped a lot that every inch an idol din ang performance ni Paulo,” kuwento ni Charlie.

Of course, we all know, that for their respective performances, Charlie and Paulo were winners both of this year’s MMFF Best Actor and Best Actress awards.

Direk Jadaone went home with the Best Director and Best Screenplay trophies.

The movie, too, was proclaimed Best Picture.

Fan Girl was earlier shown, last year for that matter, in the 2020 Tokyo International Filmfest in Japan, and in the 2020 Tallinn Black Film Festival in Estonia.

Guess who Charlie’s real favorite actor is?

“Richard Gutierrez,” Charlie quickly replied.

Her dream is to be paired with him either in a movie or TV show.

Charlie is cast as one of the sisters in Four Sisters Before the Wedding.
