“Never invalidate help or someone just because it is not posted online!,” ang sagot   ni Luis Manzano sa  mga nanguwestiyon kay Alex Gonzaga na dedma ito sa pagtulong sa mga biktima ng pagputok ng Taal Volcano last Sunday. “With everything that has been said and done, do what you want to do :) gusto mo tumulong and post? Great job, gusto mo tumulong behind the scenes? Great job pa rin. But never invalidate help or someone just because it is not posted online! Laban tayo Batangueños. God Bless!” ang buong tweet ni Luis bilang suporta sa kaibigang si Alex.

Nauna nang na-bash si Luis sa pananamantala raw sa presyo ng N95 mask na binibenta nila ng  P690. Sina-suggest pa ng iba na ipamigay na lang kasi ni Luis ang nasabing mga mask dahil hindi ‘yun maa-afford ng karamihang biktima ng Taal Volcano.

Pero may buwelta si Luis : “Ang tatanggapin lang ng iba ay pagnaka-post, ayaw nila ma-comprehend na mas marami nangyayari sa likod ng social media :) binabase nila ang validation on social media which i think is wrong. Bawat hinga’t utot at galaw naka-post dapat and i don’t agree with that :)” na ibig sabihin ay tumutulong sila na hindi nila pino-post.

Mga naalalang kabayo ni Kim, kakaunti ang na-rescue

Si Kim Chiu ang unang nakaalala sa mga kabayo sa Taal Volcano sa   unang IG post niya three days ago.

Pero alam na kaya na Kim na sa 3,000 horses sa Taal Volcano, 30 pa lang diumano ang nari-rescue?

“30 out of 3,000. The owners of the horses of Taal Island took action this morning when they heard the news that the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO) will no longer evacuate the horses and that animal rescuers were not being allowed to go to the island.

“Wala namang maaasahan so kami na lang,” (We were not expecting any rescue, so we did it ourselves) said one horse owner. One horse at a time, the horse owners took turns using 3 to 4 wooden boats and rowed over 50 kms to transport the horses to Balete, Batangas.

“PAWS found the group today after doing its feeding rounds for the affected dogs, cats and cattle in Talisay.

“Volunteer equine vets led by Dr. Modomo will attend to the horses tomorrow as PAWS tries to improve sheltering conditions of the tired and injured animals.

“Thank you to all those who have sent help for our disaster-relief efforts for the animals of Taal,” ayon sa social media update ng Philippine Animal Welfare Society (PAWS).

Kasalukuyan nang nasa Lipa ang mga kabayo at iba pang farm animals na ni-rescue ng PAWS dahil nasa danger zone na rin ang unang pinagdalhan dito.

Sino kaya ang susunod kay Kathryn Bernardo na magdo-donate ng pet food? O kay Kim na nagmamalasakit sa mga hayop sa Taal?

“We still need constant supply of dog food, cat food, fresh water and food bowls or cups as we continue feeding the animals in the coming days.
