Direk Paul naniniwalang ang misis na si Toni ang pinaka-powerful celebrity sa Pilipinas   

Para kay direk Paul Soriano, ang asawa niyang si Toni Gonzaga na marahil ang pinaka-makapangyarihang celebrity sa Pilipinas. Sinabi ito ng filmmaker last Monday sa solo media conference niya na ginanap sa Winford Hotel, Manila.

 “You know, honestly, outside looking in, if I can a step back and just, you know, from a perspective of not being her husband, or her producer or her director, and just outside looking in, I really believe Toni is probably the most powerful celebrity today,” pahayag ng direktor at bagong-talagang Presidential Adviser for Creative Communications.

“Only because the criticisms and the hate that she’s getting are from equally powerful people too. You don’t rattle relevant people if you’re not doing something better than them, di ba?” patuloy niya.

At bilang asawa, proud na proud daw siya kay Toni.

“And you know, of course, you know, I’m her husband, and I’m very extremely proud of her,” aniya.

Pagmamalaki pa niya, “she’s also one of the strongest people I know, right. And I’ve seen her in her darkest moments. I’ve seen her being very vulnerable but she chooses to get up every day and face that camera.

“She could have easily just moved out, taken all the criticisms and just, you know, go somewhere else.

“But what did she choose? She chose to create her own show. She chose to make a concert. She chose to make a film. She’s facing it head on.

“If that’s not powerful, I don’t know what is, right?”

Aminado siyang marami rin siyang natutunan sa misis. “I’m extremely proud of her and I, you know, learned so much from her and you know just being happy being her husband,” he said.

Samantala, ipinagmamalaki rin ni Paul ang pelikulang My Teacher na isa sa 8 official entries sa 48th Metro Manila Film Festival kung saan ay siya ang direktor at pinagbibidahan naman ni Toni and Joey de Leon. “Hopefully, this will also start and signify the comeback of cinemas and of course the industry that we all love so much, the film industry,” sey ni direk.

“So hopefully you all can support My Teacher and, of course, the other seven entries also. And may this be the beginning of a merry Christmas and hopefully the rollback to all of us going back to the cinemas. I know we all miss it so much,” he said.

Ang My Teacher ay collaboration project din ng Ten17P ni Paul at TinCan ni Toni. Kasama rin sa cast sina Ronnie Alonte, Loisa Andalio, Carmi Martin, Rufa Mae Quinto, Kakai Bautista, Jackie Lou Blanco, Pauline Mendoza, at Kych Minemoto.

 True nga kayang posibleng magdemanda si Kylie Padilla dahil sa umano’y balitang nanganak na si AJ Raval na ang itinuturo nga raw ama ng baby ay si Aljur Abrenica?

Ayon kay Nay Cristy Fermin ay plano raw ni Kylie na kumasap ng lawyer.

“Meron yatang pinagsabihan na kaibigan itong si Kylie Padilla, ‘I want to talk to my lawyers,’ parang ganu’n? Eh bakit ba siya makikipag-usap sa mga abogado? Ano bang dahilan?” pagbabahagi ni Nay Cristy.
