MANILA, Philippines — JM de Guzman turns full pledged recording star with the official release of his first single for Star Records.

He penned the song, titled Asa, himself. The song is about a lost love, na damang-dama raw ni JM, bilang naging biktima na siya minsan.

One of the busiest actors of his generation, he is with the cast of the trending Kapamilya series, Pamilya Ko, where he pits talents with several authentic performers, such as Joey Marquez, Sylvia Sanchez, Irma Adlawan and Perla Bautista. Plus, Rosanna Roces, who plays his Mom.

JM does not keep secret the fact that he submitted to drug rehabilitation for two years.

Thank God din daw, ayon sa panganay na babaing anak nina Sylvia Sanchez at asawang si Art Atayde, businessman, ang aktres din na si Ria Atayde, na patungo na sa total na paggaling ang kanyang ina’t ama.

March 11 pala nagdiwang ng kanyang kaarawan si Art, kung saan kinailangang mag-excuse si Sylvia sa kanyang taping for Pamilya Ko, para matulungan ang asawa sa kanyang mga bisita, sa ginanap na handaan sa Resorts World Manila.

Perla apektado sa nangyari kay Menggie

Veteran actress Perla Bautista says affected siya sa ‘di inaasahang pagyao ng aktor na si Menggie Cobarrubias.

Huling nakasama raw niya si Menggie sa drama movie na Kung Paano Hinihintay Ang Dapithapon, where they also had for co-stars sina Dante Rivero at Romnick Sarmienta, which was released two years ago.
