Boyet at Pip ‘di natanggihan si Nora!

Wow, grabe Salve A., if true na ‘di man nag-usap ay pareho namang pumayag sina Tirso Cruz III at Christopher de Leon na magkasama sa isang movie si Nora Aunor na ang direktor ay si Joel Lamangan.

Direk Joel was the recipient of the best director’s trophy for his work in Rainbow’s Sunset in the recently concluded The Eddys Choice of the Society of Philippine Editors (SPEED), headed by People’s Tonight Entertainment Editor, Ian Fariñas.

Nasa audience siya earlier ng New Frontier Theater, where the event was held.

Both Tirso at Christopher were at the Eddys also to receive their respective awards as Showbiz Icons.

They were, at one time, the favorite leading man ni Nora.

Of Pip and Boyet, mas naunang naging artista si Pip. He started in showbiz in the 60s as a singer-dancer, cum musician. Mostly musicians ang Cruz family.

In the case of Boyet, his parents were both actors, Gil de Leon at Lilia Dizon.

He was a college student at the University of the East when the late top director Lino Brocka tapped him to play the lead role in Tinimbang Ka Nguni’t Kulang.

Pinakasalan niya si Nora Aunor pero matagal na matagal na itong annulled.

His wife now is Sandy Andolong na isa ring mahusay na artista.

Pelikula ni Juday dalawang taon nang nakaimbak

Judy Ann Santos is keeping her fingers crossed na magkatotoo ang sinabi ni direk Brillante Mendoza na isasali niya sa upcoming Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) 2019 ang pelikulang ginawa niya for him, when she was doing Ang Dalawang Mrs. Reyes with Angelica Panganiban two years ago.

Unless she gets daw the go-signal from direk Brillante, wala muna siyang sasabihin about the movie. Although feeling daw niya, pam-filmfest ang dating ng movie.

Neither will she give a clue, ayon pa rin kay Judy Ann, kung anong titulo ng movie at kung sinu-sino ang kasama niya rito.

She is set to do another movie raw soon. But right now, focus daw muna siya sa pagiging member ng cast ng top action series, FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano, where for the first time she will be working with Coco Martin.

Kasama nga rin pala ni Judy Ann sa Ang Probinsyano si Raymart Santiago, na kasama niya sa ginagawang series na Starla na hindi pa alam  kung kailan ipalalabas.

Well, she and Raymart are still hoping na matutuloy pa rin ang tambalan nilang ito.

Dimples pasok kina Vice at Anne!

Bagong addition to the cast si Dimples Romana, who is now, too, sa MMFF entry na Momalland, co-starring her with Vice Ganda at Anne Curtis.

In the Block Z naman, kasama ni Dimples sa cast ang love teams nina Joshua Garcia, Julia Barretto, McCoy de Leon at Maris Racal.

Block Z is tungkol sa Zombie and no less than Eerie director, Mikhail Red is at the helm. In any case, tiyak daw na ma-e-excite ang four year-old niyang anak na si Alonzo na panoorin ang pelikula.

Meanwhile, continuous ang excitement na nararamdaman daw ni Dimples, dala nga ng magagandang reviews na nababasa niya, lalo sa social media, tungkol sa series niya with Beauty Gonzales, Richard Yap, Adrian Alandy at ang apat na kabataang sina Andrea Brillante, Francine Diaz, Seth Fidelin at Kyle Echarri na Kadenang Ginto.

Never mind kung kontrabida ang dating niya sa manonood. Ang importante, very real daw ang pagkakaganap niya sa kanyang role.

In real life, kung sabagay, Dimples is an ideal wife to her husband of 15 years, Boyet Ahmes, and an ideal mom to both Alonzo and her 12 year-old daughter, Callie.
