Emmanuel B. Villaruel - Banat

“Since the start of the pandemic crisis, both PDL (persons deprived of liberty) and personnel of the jail facilities differed from the usual. The physical and social responsibility including other factors became the driving point to come up with the idea of having the MTB Mini Trail Challenge, which aims to aid the need of people and the environment,” matud pa ni LLCJ-MD assistant warden JCINSP Bryanroy A. Mercado, nga maoy nagpasiugda sa talagsaong kompetisyon sud sa prisohan.

“With the absence of the usual activity, an unusual launch of a breakthrough prospered to create awareness for public and private participation in the effort of resocialization and reintegration of our brothers behind bars into the mainstream of our society as law-abiding and productive citizens,” dugang pa ni Mercado.

Gikumbatihan niadtong Oktubre 25, ang maong kalihukan gitambongan nilang Lapu-Lapu City Mayor Junard “Ahong” Chan, LCJMD Warden JSUPT Jessie Calumpang, ug Mercado.

“We have indeed conveyed our message of awareness on physical fitness for everyone, climate change cognizance and the call for public and private participation in the reformation of our PDL into productive individuals,” padayag pa ni Calumpang, nga nagtinguha nga mopahigayon og susamang karera dili lamang sa sunod nga NACOCOW apan hasta sab sa umaabot nga mga aktibidades sa prisohan.
