SM Aura Premier has launched the first outdoor pet obstacle course in the middle of a central business district. Paw Park at the Level 5 Skypark opened at an outdoor roof deck surrounded by high-rise buildings.
SM Aura Premier has always been a destination point for urban pet owners and all entry points of the mall are now pup- and “furent”-friendly.
Compliant with Philippine Canine Club standards, the Paw Park features 11 agility obstacles, namely a Double Hoop Jump, an Adjustable Tire Jump, a Tube Tunnel, an Agility See Saw, Weave Poles, A-Frame, Dog Walk Ramp, Agility Walk, Pause Table, Wall Jump and an Adjustable Dog Hurdle.
The park also has basic amenities for dogs and their owners, such as a water fountain and benches. The use of the park is free with simple online registration.
At the launch of #PawParkAtAura last Tuesday, dogs and their parents had a great time at an event attended by president of Engineering Design and Development of SM Hans Sy Jr., and president of SM Supermalls Steven Tan.
Fashion designer Francis Libiran and his fur baby “Toby” took home the Best in Costume special award wearing a couture ensemble accentuated with his mini Chanel bag. All guests wore protective facemasks throughout the afternoon event and went home with a loot bag containing gifts from Pet Express and Nutri Chunks by San Miguel Foods for their fur babies.
