The Catholic Women’s Club of the Philippines (CWC), one of the oldest and most prestigious women’s clubs in the country, held its Annual Afternoon Tea Ceremony at the Manila Polo Club in Makati City.

Led by CWC president Evelyn Ranada and event chair Lin Liboro, the officers and members of the club celebrated the yearly event — which started 97 years ago — through a whimsical Polynesian-themed party.

Guests were welcomed by the wonderfully decorated venue, from the thriving vegetation to the tropical orchids, from other eclectic blooms to giant philodendron leaves. The event was also an opportunity for the new members to be presented to the rest of the club.

It was a lovely celebration of the blessings the club has received. The event was also an opportunity for the members to signify their commitment to serve the community for the years to come.

Congratulations to the Catholic Women’s Club for a successful Annual Tea celebration!
