COLUMNISTS. Some business executives, while having coffee at a snack bar in one of the city's shopping malls, talked about some of what they called "fiery and hard-hitting" newspaper columnists. "Lingaw kaayo ko paminaw nila," said our Ear informer.

FOR PRESIDENT. One of the businessmen said: "Why don't these columnists run for president and solve our problems?" His coffee-mates laughed, according to our informer, but two of them said: "Don't laugh... Makasulbad baya na sila sa tanang problems ta."
