The time for righteous indignation has come

SHOOTING STRAIGHT - Bobit S. Avila - The Freeman

Three weeks after the May 13 elections, the Precinct Count Optical Scan (PCOS) has proven to the Filipino people that it is full holes and, as we’ve exposed it together with the nation’s top I.T. experts, it did not give us credible and honest elections. But if there is anything worse than having the PCOS machines, it is the Filipino people’s apathy! Come one guys, we have already exposed how the Comelec used the PCOS to cheat for the ruling Liberal Party (LP), first by removing all the security measures placed in the law, then by denying the review of the source code which is also mandated by law. This is not to mention the many other problems that the Comelec calls “glitches” plaguing the PCOS machines.

So where are the people marching the streets in righteous indignation? Should we wait for those leftists who practically make street marches their business? When your own government pulls a fast one on its people in the guise of clean elections but the opposite has happened, what do we do? Clamp up and do nothing? If martial law lasted for 14 years long, it is due to the very same apathy that our people are experiencing today. If what we’ve been writing about the Comelec hasn’t angered you, there’s more.

Just the other day, the Comelec confirmed that there were discrepancies in the random manual audit (RMA) when they compared it to the results produced by the PCOS machines. Hellooow! This is what we’ve been saying since the May 2010 elections, and this is what we warned you before the May 2013 elections and now even the Comelec is starting to admit the problems of the PCOS machines. When the tally for the PCOS machines do not tally with the votes cast, it means something is wrong, terribly wrong!

We already told you about the senatorial vote that even an idiot can understand that the Liberal Party candidates garnered an uncanny 60 percent of the vote, while UNA candidates got 30 percent, while the independents bagged 10 percent of the vote. Take a good look at the graph and you will see that the Filipino people would never vote this uniformly. This in my book is the cheating done by the still unseen people inside the Comelec or Smartmatic. But I.T. experts and Netizens already uncovered this phenomenon and I believe that the time has come for the Filipino people to conduct an “Agrava” type of commission in order to get into the bottom of this mess.

Meanwhile the Supreme Court (SC) has suspended the proclamation of the party-list winners because of so many party-list groups protesting about their disqualification. Amongst them is the Alliance for Nationalism and Democracy (ANAD), which already won in the past elections. So why should the Comelec unilaterally and arbitrarily disqualify them? Yet this same Comelec did not disqualify those above-ground leftist organizations (friends of the communists) like Bayan, Gabriela… etc. etc. Is the Comelec telling us that they are pro-communists?

Finally, there is a call by no less than the United Nationalists Alliance (UNA) to open all the ballot boxes so that once and for all, the Filipino people would know the truth behind the PCOS machines. Mind you, countries like Germany were very much ahead of us in the use of electronic vote counting machines, yet their Supreme Court decided that these automated machines were vulnerable for manipulation, which is why there is now a law in Germany that no longer allows the use of electronic vote count machines.

As we’ve already written before, the United Kingdom and Canada (Where Dominion Voting Systems are headquartered) still use paper and pencil, yet they are still able to come up with who won in the vote within 24-hours after the elections are over. The Comelec should have studied those manual systems instead of using the expensive electronic counting machines.

At this point, we exhort all local government units (LGUs) to issue resolutions to the Comelec or the Supreme Court to have all the ballot boxes opened so we can fix the problem before the 2016 Presidential elections. If the Comelec refuses to open the ballot boxes, all the more we should suspect that they are in cahoots with the shadowy characters who manipulated the 2010 and 2013 elections, and then we must now take drastic measures.

This coming Sunday, June 2, is the Feast of Corpus Christi and for the first time in so many decades, Catholics worldwide will join a “historic” Eucharistic Adoration, in full communion with no less than his Holiness Pope Francis to pray for the intention of the “Church throughout the world united together in adoration of the Most Holy Eucharist and the other intentions dedicated to the people around the world who are suffering from violence, drugs or human trafficking and economic insecurity.” Please check with your respective parishes on the exact hour that this will happen in Cebu.
