National Anthem in Visayan has many versions, only one needs to be adopted

VISAYAN ANTHEM. There is a clamor among Bisayistas, especially those belonging to certain writers associations, to use the Visayan version of the National Anthem in flag ceremonies and other important occasions. This is all right. What is not all right is the fact that there are many Visayan versions of the Anthem, and each group insists that its version be adopted.

NO UNIFORMITY. What is now happening is that different versions of the so-called Nasudnong Awit are sung in different occasions, depending on which group is “loyal” to which composer. There ought to be one, just one, version to be officially adopted or so many observers believe.
