AMBULANCE. Someone told an Ear source that there is allegedly a town somewhere in the Philippines so small that is so small it does not have an ambulance. While the town can readily afford one, the need was seen as not that urgent because everyone was just within a few minutes of the hospital and the constituents were few. What do they use in emergencies? Well, the town’s only hearse in the only funeral parlor doubles as an ambulance.
HEARSE. While others are relieved to see an ambulance coming to their help the constituents of that town reportedly have mixed feelings when they see a hearse heading their way. Hospital staff are also not sure what to expect when it comes up their driveway. Even those who have been helped by the ambulance said it is quite an experience to be pulled out alive from such a vehicle. Others just laugh it off, saying they are never sure what to expect when the “ambulance” drives by.
