Making suckers of some tourists

UNSCRUPULOUS TAILOR. An American tourist bought a pair of trousers from a store in a mall. Because it was too long he brought the trousers to a tailoring shop on F. Ramos St. He was charged P300 for the job. “By golly,” said his Filipino friend. “You’ve been had!” The friend went to the tailor shop and berated the tailor who tried to make a sucker of the American tourist.

EXCESSIVE CAR RENTAL. The same American went to Bohol and tried to rent a car for one day. He was charged P10,000. Again his Pinoy friend came to his rescue. The P10,000 was reduced to P3,000 which is the normal car rental rate. “Kining amigo kong Kano ilaronon gyud. Kon wa pa ko, buslot nang bulsa ini.”
