MANILA, Philippines — Enforcing the gambling ban on state officials and employees, the Department of Justice will submit the data of DOJ personnel to the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corp.

The DOJ and Pagcor yesterday signed a data-sharing agreement covering over 56,000 DOJ employees.

Only the names, titles and pictures of DOJ officials and personnel will be submitted, Justice Secretary Fredderick Vida said.

“Pagcor has a facial recognition system to know if someone is a government official,” Vida said.

In 2025, over P310 million in casino winnings were voided after being claimed by people in the government, according to Pagcor chairman Alejandro Tengco.
