Mark Ernest Villeza - The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency has received drug-detection equipment from the embassy of South Korea, bolstering PDEA’s campaign against illegal drugs.

PDEA chief Isagani Nerez accepted the donation, which includes two Raman analyzers and eight Samsung tablets, during a ceremony at the agency’s headquarters in Quezon City on Dec. 12.

Nerez said the equipment would strengthen PDEA’s capacity for drug detection, analysis and intelligence gathering nationwide.
